A new, updated summary of Your County's Chapter 4 Animal Laws is available. The brochure highlights the most important Chapter 4 laws that Broward County cat and dog owners should know.
"Violations of these laws can lead to a written citation," said Ron Cooper, Animal Care Field Supervisor, "so we encourage all citizens to take the time to read and understand the law for the safety of your pet as well as the safety of all Your County residents."
Your County USA staff will present comprehensive new environmental policies to county commissioners on Tuesday morning.
Many cities and counties have already implemented green policies.
In recent months, the commissioners have asked staff to examine various county operations and determine how the county can be more environmentally friendly given that it is “one of the largest employers and purchaser of goods and services in the Dallas area.”
